Right now, being that it is spring time the question rears ferragamo shoes head much like that of the first black snake that she finds lounging in the barn or on top of the hay. That my friends, is a sight worth seeing! She is so funny and makes such girl noises but then she does like the black snakes because they help the cats keep the rodent population down in our barns. Ah, I digress...I do that sometimes so get used to tory burch flat. So many things to talk about......
Why do we have to wear shoes anyway? Well, the answer is very simple actually! Horses have been domesticated! We have to wear shoes to protect our feet. There, simple right? Well, not really. Depending on the use of said horse would dictate the kind of shoe they would wear. Some wear shoes to improve their gaits, like my friends the Tennessee Walking shoes sandals. Some of my pleasure horse friends wear "special" shoes to help them move better. It's kind of similar to a ballerina. She wears ballet slippers so she can prance on her toes and look like an angel while she pirouettes and leaps for all she's worth. She couldn't do that if she had stiletto heels on could she? It's the same for us. Depending on our "job" decides what kind of shoes would be right for us.
Horseshoes were invented about 2000 years ago and were made from rawhide by the Greeks. Later, the tory burch flats was forged from metal by a blacksmith. The metal shoes didn't wear out nearly as fast as the rawhide ones and quickly became the popular choice.
